Business Development Executive Dublin Showroom


This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially focused business development specialist in our new Dublin Showroom.

The Galtee Group is a leading manufacturer of high end timber products including decorative panels and internal doors. We specialise in standard/bespoke doors, door sets and panels for Architects, Home Owners, Interior Designers and Developer

Key Responsibilities

  1. To build a retail customer base for our showroom
  2. To acquire new business with contractors, interior designers and developers and to act as an account manager to existing clients.

The Sales Representative will be expected to generate new leads from email, prospecting, telesales, social selling, networking, onsite visits and other tactics.

Most customer contact will be done via one to one meetings, phone, email and showroom visits.


The Successful Candidate must

  • Achieve both sales budget and target margin.
  • Increase the profile and exposure of complete product portfolio within the market.
  • Consistently identify and target end-users within area of operation.
  • Build long-term sustainable working relationships with developers, architects and interior designers.
  • Through the effective use of a follow up process, maintain regular contact with all new and existing customers to ensure that relationships are maintained for potential repeat business.
  • Have the attention to detail and experience of getting contracts over the line
  • Develop and maintain full product knowledge of all our products, accessories, prices and key features of major competitors.
  • To participate in planning sales campaigns and promotions to maximise sales
  • Increase the profile and exposure of complete product portfolio within the market.
  • Record all customer information, quotes and general administration accurately and timely.


  • Experience of sales in the construction industry desirable but not essential.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and issue resolution.
  • Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise work.
  • Flexible with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Proven experience of working on own initiative.
  • Own Transport and full drivers licence.
